A very special Christmas concert Dec 15    - was indeed, very special! The Rockford Advanced Women’s Chorus provided an hour of beautiful music to bring joy to your holiday celebration. This wonderful group often fills the Rockford Fine Arts Auditorium with the beautiful sounds of the season, but at Hope Community Church we were able to hear them in a much more intimate setting. As a special an unexpected blessing, the young men's Aces choir group was also able to share their gift of song with us as well.
Advent by Candlelight - Sun Dec 20 The evening will feature all kinds of Christmas desserts and hors d'oeuvres with music provided by the choirs, praise team, and soloists of Hope Community Church. There is no charge for this evening of Christmas fun and joy! Please plan to join us to slow down, take a relaxing breath of fresh air, and experience the love God provided for us in Jesus Christ.

Flu Shots (not H1N1) - 70+ folks came for flu shots.  The medical staff had to get more vaccine. 

We've Paved the Parking Lot! Nov 2009

A long-time dream come true.  We now have pavement (1 layer) and lights. 

Here's some pictures of before and after.

We need, and plan on getting, a 2nd layer of asphalt next year which will improve the strength of the paving and provide longer life and protection from weather and wear.
