Children's Faith Formation : Akaloo

What does akaloo mean? The word Akaloo is inspired by the Greek verb "to follow" (akolouthein). Are you ready to Akaloo?

moving beyond Sunday school

We all want to build disciples for life. However, we don't always use a lifelong approach. Sadly, "faith formation" is often limited to Sunday school or confirmation. Akaloo changes all of that—moving beyond Sunday school. Akaloo brings an enduring perspective, offering a program of intentional discipleship that covers the entire lifespan, children through adults.

I akaloo, you akaloo, we all akaloo!

Discipleship is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor, so Akaloo brings a "stage-specific" approach to faith formation. The program is organized by age group—Children, Youth, and Adults—with each stage focusing on five areas or units of discipleship: Bible, God, Disciple, Church, and World. Everyone is united behind a single theme: We are called to follow Jesus.
