Ministries of Hope

We are called to serve God, and support, encourage, and serve each other and our community.

We are all called to serve in ministry, each in our own way, using the gifts and talents that God has given us.

As we humbly serve, we are blessed.

These principles are the foundations of the ministries of Hope Community Church, which are conceived and led by our members. Involvement in ministry - serving God and others - is important for our spiritual growth. We encourage every member - and those that aren’t even members yet - to listen to the Spirit and explore where they are called to serve God, the church, and others.

Some of the Ministries of Hope

Faith Formation

Christian education for all ages. The life-long process of making ourselves and others into disciples of Christ, through wider knowledge, discipleship habits, maturity in our walk and healthy relationships.

1^st & 3^rd Sundays of every month 11:30am-1pm

Wed Night Ministry - Studies with Pastor Scott
A Mid-Week Ministry on Wednesdays from 7pm-8pm. Pastor Scott teaches on various topics of interest to adults and high-school youth.

Music & Worship

The Worship and Music Committee plans for special services and celebrations, as well as evaluating the ongoing needs of our worship experience at Hope.

The team meets as needed on Tuesdays 8pm (after praise team) or at 8:45 when choir is in session.

Choir

The Choir raises their voices with classic and contemporary selections for worship.

Tuesday evenings six weeks prior to Christmas and Easter, time varies.

Praise Team

Hope’s praise team serves in worship throughout the year. We are always looking for people wishing to share their musical gifts in this ministry.

Church Council

Called by God and congregation, the Church Council prays faithfully to discern God’s direction for the church, how to help it grow spiritually and how to help it run smoothly.

Preschool to Grade 5. The world and God are exciting and there is always something new. Their delight and growth is our blessing.

Youth - MiddleSchool/Jr High & High School
Building a relationship with God, relationships with each other, exploring the foundations of our faith - and walking with each other through the challenges of Junior High & Senior. This ministry also provides a path toward "confirmation" for those involved.

“Taking Pounds Off Sensibly”

We offer a healthy, caring and supportive approach to weight control, at an affordable price. We've been doing this since 1948.

Outreach & Fellowship

The Outreach Team provides opportunities for members, friends and neighbors to enjoy a worship experience with us as well as to join us in our many social events. We organize and plan special events monthly throughout the year.

First Sunday morning of each month.
